Alfa The shadow is weird and why does it have a black border?

Bravo It's not a shadow, the outer ring of an avocado is always a darker shade and it gets lighter as you go further into the seed.

Alfa Than something is wrong with the perspective... I like and understand the avocado itself but can't wrap my head around the dark blob behind it..

Charlie It might be an odd reflection, but it adds something to the composition. I envision it without the blob Or in a different position and I don't see a better solution.
